Friendly staff made check-in easy.
During my one night stay, the noise levels were unbearable. Room 3 was situated right next to the kitchen fan, which vibrated and made it impossible to sleep. The toilet macerators went off randomly throughout the night, waking me up repeatedly. When I approached the landlady about switching rooms due to the issues, she was rude and dismissive. The overall experience was miserable, and I was left feeling incredibly frustrated.

ann and charles are super nice hosts, they made us feel right at home. the room was comfy and had a great view of the pretty square. loved the food, especially the steak and ale pie, it was yummmy! breakfast was great too, set us up for the day. the pub dog was the cutest!
only downside was the bathroom was across the hallway, which was kinda inconvenient. also, the room could use black out blinds for better sleep.

Our room was comfortable and quiet, providing us with a great night's sleep, and the location was perfect for exploring the charming village and nearby attractions. The only downside was the noise from the main road, which took a bit of getting used to.

Recommend it for a family getaway
The hosts Ann and Charles were just so welcoming. I mean, they treated us like family. And that steak and ale pie? Let me tell you, the chunks of tender beef were enormous. It was like a flavor explosion.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for, right?
